Remote Backup
Netzen Solutions offers a variety of data backup solutions ranging from: usb flash sticks / external hard drives / tape backup / daily offsite remote backup and archiving from your business location to our servers. Many other custom solutions are also available to suit your specific needs.
What is Remote Backup?
Remote backup is the way of the future when it comes to backup solutions. It works by Netzen transfering your critical files / shared resources on your network over an encrypted (Secure Transfer) link to our servers in the office. This is automatic and can be scheduled to run daily or weekly, depending on how frequent you want your data to be backed up. Once the files are received at our end it runs through an integrity check to validate the data was transfered successfully. You then have the ability to recover files via a web link where you can browse and download older versions of your files.
Standard Remote Backup Cycle
1) The content of your shared drive on your server(s) would be sent over and encrypted link to our servers here in the office every business day.
2) Every Friday of each week in the month we take a copy and store it until the end of the month.
3) At the end of each month (last Friday of each month) we archive the Friday for a period of 3 months and after this period the backup is put back into the cycle.
Benefits to you
1) You will have the ability to get a file recovered at any day during your active week.
2) If you miss the first week you can recover files from a previous Fridays backup from any of the Fridays in the active month
3) Every last Friday of the month you will have a backup stored for 3 months.
4) Recovering files remotely is FREE. On site is charged at the standard rate.
5) You can relax and let us handle your backup solution.
6) Backups are stored offsite from your location and 3 month archives are stored offsite from our location.

In addition to the standard backup service we are able to offer custom solutions should your requirements be different.
These may include but are not limited to:
1) Tape backup of your data stored offsite from our office
2) Altering the backup periods / days
3) Increasing the archive time or storage time
4) Providing you with DVDs of archived data
